Dear Sanjaysahani -I won't be much help - I have a simple 'Edgarhorn sytem' using a 100hz 1/4 size horn with JBL 2220H, cone JBL LE-5 on 250Hz simple tractrix horn (by simple, I mean two flat panels in the construction) and Polydax tweeter. You might consider one of his two-way horn sytems using a TAD driver on a round wooden tractix horn. They would go lower than my 100hz horns. I don't have the address for Dr. Bruce Edgar's website but am sure someone 'here' does.
Even this simple system sounds very natural on voices - and 'fast' with a push-pull 6BX7 triode amp I built out of an Eico ST-70. My SE 2A3 sounds less 'punchy' I think its less harsh than my Altec horn but I'm not using a good driver on the Altec 511. Since I'm running all the horns from one amp, I have to attenuate the 100Hz horn by 6dB so its only gets a bit more than a watt from my homemade parallel 2A3 SE amp.
The passive crossover must be simple and use some sort of matrix for phase control. I've not seen this unit mentioned before.
Keeping things in the digital domain may be best today.
I would love to hear the Indian artists mentioned above! - its the most incredible culture with regard to art, music and religious symbology. I hope the digital audio standard improves - I still don't feel that the present CD can capture as much detail as the old analog tape recorders - (I may be out of step)
Somewhere in these posts I noticed that high quality drivers are being made in India - are there also full high effiency systems being produced in India?
I'm not sure if the Beringer eq units are 'World Class' - the 'Ultra-Curve' eq may only have analog inputs (?) heres a review on that unit:
