The JBL 2123H Jbl's I have loaded in 180 cycle horns sound much better than the LE5's I have from 200-1k, the Audax PR170MO is also better 300-2k, but the TAD 4001 from 350/400 up to 5k is better than all of them. No strain whats-so-ever heard with these. Sure the 10" will go lower but not as detailed as the TAD. You have to consider the sensitivity of the system when you look at over driving the driver. With 3 watts it all most people could stand in a home system. For the money the EV MF1012 (used $50.00 each) is a real sleeper in these horns, smoother than the TAD but not as extended on the top. 300-2.5k they are awesome.
