You got a great pair of speakers. Try them with some tube amps and enjoy. Fisher made wonderful sounding tube amps that were built like a tank. So did Dynaco, Scott, Eico, and Sherwood and many other great sounding vintage tube amps. Bring over your audiophile friends to listen to what some of the best sounding 2-way speakers of all time sound like with a modest tube amplifier. Many like Tom B. who is well respected here gets good results with solid state. For me tubes rule, but your ears may not mind going the solid state amp route. Enjoy your new speakers. John C.
