Hi,
spoke to a gentleman the other day that had been working together with Stig Carlsson during the time the first boxes (Carlson speakers really was boxes). The boxes was the ones using Philips 9710 800ohm ass bassdrivers and a SEPP EL86 as speaker driver. Those had negative output impendance below - about - 60Hz by lifting the amps ground above the speakers "ground"... (Hm.. Donno how that works, but will figure out one of these days...)
Not a labarotory product but a real common freely avaialable DIY-project and kit here in sweden once upon a time in the sixties...Just some history, or tale, or whatever...
mvh /Pär
