A differing perspective

Everyone here seems to want to point you to an SE amp to drive your new speakers. I'm going to suggest a different approach. How about something in the EL84/6bq5/7581 in a push-pull topology?. Not as sexy I know but you will get 12 to 15 watts of extended range output as long as you mind the output transformers are good beefy ones. This will give lots of headroom for those deep passages driving the bass.
You may entertain the 6v6 in push - pull as well.
I think the cost of entry would be less as well.
