I have a few friends that went to the School of Design at State; a great school as you know - count yourself fortunate to have gone. It's obviously a compliment to be associated with the Design School; instead, I went to Wilmington and majored in English and Philosophy, which, of course, means I end up working on the computer doing web design like a Silverback Ape, guiding a French Cutter...
I grew up in Chapel Hill, and moved to Wrightsville Beach years ago (almost 20 sadly enough). Remember all the bands, places, etc that you mentioned. Frank Heath, the owner of the Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill, is a friend; if you ever spent any time following Dexter Romweber and company around, you must have been to the Cradle numerous times. It's still going strong.
So you like your Fi amp? I have the 2A3 Moondogs. I am very interested in the fact that you did make the Voigt Pipes - How much did it deviate from this version at left? Are you able to play your full selection?
Finally, what in the hell are you doing next to ground zero? I have a good friend from Duke who is a few blocks north of you. She is just now getting back to semi-normal...
