Or both at the same time? I would not use the ALK crossover for a doorstop, it would make the door seem too bright.And just how much mortite did you use? I literally have five layers of the stuff all over the throat of my horns, all over the tweeter but only the first 3-4" on the squawker--the rest there is dynamat.
I tried the P trap that was mentioned to no avail, but djk mentioned (in my AA network) changing the 2uF cap on the tweeter to 6uF, that took care of a big (6DB) peak from 5-6K, which was at least somewhat evident while listening to music.
