KH:I have an EICO HF81, too. The amp isn't quite up to snuff (needs recapping), but in a quick audition it worked for me.
BTW, I only found my Cornies piercing fed with the ss MC2100 amp that came with them. That's an early ss amp, but some folks still like them.
