You're right about me, for the most part! I listen to acoustic jazz on LP recorded between 1950 and 1970 about 95% of the time. I don't ever lsiten to modern pop or rock, but my wife (43 year old electrical engineer and cigar store owner) loves Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem and crap (my opinion) like that and I must admit these recordings are downright SHRILL through the Cornwalls, but sound really good (is that possible?) when blasting through our Tannoy Montior Golds. I don't think Cornwalls are good speakers for high-volume electric rock or rap. Some up to the minute recordings do sound good--spent last weekend falling into Sam Rivers' two albums with the revbea big band and they sounded FANTASTIC through the Corwalls.
