The LT12s were bought piecemeal - and, not coincidentally, very inexpensively -- from eBAY over a span of many years. I think the pair was 55 smackers, when all was said and done.
The cabinets were local purchases, again over a long span of time. The first cabinet (the one without the 'French Provincial' trim) was acquired many years ago with a pair :-) of the early (stamped basket) University 6201 coaxes. I wasn't much impressed with the 6201s, but I kept the cabinet. I think the trio of stuff was fifty smackers; ultimately sold the drivers and covered the cost of the cabinet :-P
The second cabinet was yardsale largess this summer; picked up for me at my behest by a friend (based on his description) for twenty smackers.
I like to play the long game :-)
