BACK-IN-THE-DAY the Quad 63 was the speaker of choice for many San Francisco Opera singers.
The singers and ears that I trust have never thought 2-way horns like the Altec 19 correctly reproduced their voice. Talk to sopranos. Search the audio mags for which speakers the world's greatest voices have in their homes.
