I'm using 414's with Altec 902 drivers on Edgar 650 hz horns. I have been using a 2nd order crossover at 850 hz and it works great. The 902's use a high frequency compensation circuit that I got from Wayne Parnham's Pi speaker site with 9db of attenuation: 20 ohms in parallel with the driver, then 12 ohms and 2.2 mfd (paralleled) in series.
