I understand your cable skepticism and I most assuredly would not have brought it to your attention if I did not have first hand experience with the SR RR REL SPEC cables with regards to the stock REL cable.Heck, even the SR REL SPEC Phase ll cable is a MAJOR step-up up over the stock REL cable and at half the price of the RR, is a heck of a deal! (I just traded in my Phase ll cables for credit towards the RR cables)
Yes, I agree that cables can be thought of as "snake oil" to some, BUT, one cannot convince another with words no more than a magazine article can portray the sound of a component with mere words.
Listening is the only thing that matters in this hobby we share and if U get the chance, I highly recommend U make an informed decision for yourself :-)Cheers and happy listening,
