I see a cable like this on audiogon for $650 USED ($1100 new). I'll be damned if I ever spend that kind of money on a cable. To put it in perspective, I spent $1600 on the sub, and it made a HUGE difference in the system. To blow $650 (few car payments) on a cable that will make a marginal difference is crazy. How I'd rather spend that money:Pile of LP's and/or CD's
Lots of cold brew and/or red wine
Ticket to NYC, hotel, nice dinner, a ticket to a concertIf anything, I'd spend that money on a used Pass Aleph 3 amp (have to throw in about $200). That would make a hell of a lot bigger change that 9 feet of wire.
