Ok. I don't mind cutting to make holes for drivers, the speakers were going to the dumpster. The Bose drivers are so bad, crumbling paper and foam and yellow stamped metal. The volume is 2140 in or 1.25 cu ft. and right now it has a 2.75" by 6" port in it. The tweeter hole is 21/2 " but it's ok it doesn't have to stay that way. If this turns into a sealed speaker I could put a driver where the port is now for instance, or make another port too.
Ok, another question... is it possible to use a sensitive horn to match a sensitive woofer? I see horn mids/high that go down to 800 an dup to 15K. I know nothing about them though so do not know what I would get. It's ok... I make zillions of mistakes all the time learning new things and I don't care.
Here are some 10" drivers I found on ebay that are supposedly 98 and 95 db. which might work.. I wrote to the guy for TS numbers.
