P Audio 8 plus cabinet design ?

I have received my PAudio 103db '8 plus' model coaxial speakers but I'm not thrilled about the looks of the supplied speaker box design. I like them a little narrower and deeper but I plan on 2.8 cubic ft. It is a ported design.

If anyone has some alternative designs for these speakers, I would love to see them. I will likely use finished birch plywood.

I will be using vintage tube amps - Eico 14 w/ch or Sherwood S5000 20 w/ch.
