Much thanks for your time and trouble. And yes you did scare me, but I needed to be. I'm definitely not a project man. Just need a commercially available stand. And I absolutely need a type to bolt to the speaker as much as I hate to drill into it.
The floor risers came with The III's and I tried them right off the bat. I have a concrete slap with a thick hardwood floor. The coupling with the floor was way to much bass than what I need. Putting them up on the too high stands fixed that at least. I have sub as well, but have not liked the results thus far. Slows the pace and rhythm down, definition, clarity, etc.... My sub is pretty good, but it's not happening. I'll probably call Sound Anchors Stands. They do custom stand works. I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative that I could buy.Thanks Again
