Hi DJK
I had looked at that one before and liked it immediately due to size (252 sq.in. mouth plus 'door' baffle extention) and construction (looks like a tight fit to mount the 15 inch driver) The measured performance is very nice. Wonder how this compares to Ernst Beck's little EV12L horn? Was this one ever put into production?
- how did Paul get 108dB out of the K-33E? didn't he spec it at about 104dB in the K-horn and La Scala? - also I like those autoformers to 'jack' up the drive on the mid and tweet horns when using a trasistor amp.
Oh - there was another horn in the patent library but not very compact - a 'L' horn with the back chamber and initial expansion ramps at a right angle to the long straight section - I couldn't find that booger again! It didn't save much space compared to a straight horn.
Many Thanks and Take Good Care!
Fred
