Dear group -I'm wondering if perhaps I should attempt a 55-70Hz hyperbolic 'J' horn instead of a folded horn with several 90 degree bends - seems it would be nearly as good as a straight horn but I wonder is much front-back depth can be saved - any estimates for front to back depth of a 60Hz 1/4 size 'J' with one 90 degree bend?
Also - I'd appreciate opinions on the 'J' and straight basshorns verus the folded horn with regard to 'naturalness' - I use 100Hz 1/4 size straight horns now - really fairly smooth.
thanks
Freddy

Topic - How about a 'J' horn - will that be about as 'uncolored' as a straight horn? - Also - how much more compact? - freddyi 04:35:21 11/29/00 (2)
