I use it as a real world example that integration and differentiation, whether its due to an acoustical or electrical system results in zero group delay, a necessary result of the fact that the group delay is the negative of the phase differential, thus if the phase is constant with frequency, then the group delay is zero.

I presume you agree with the above. JBL also, on their website describes how some of their direct bass radiator monitor systems using the 2344 HF horn can reproduce square waves and includes a photograph of an approx 350 hz example reproduced by said monitor that has the clearly rectangular outline to prove it.
