Anybody having some knowledge about how the diaphragm of the Linaeum tweeter and the Janus 50 behave (let us imagine the complete membrane acting entirely as a double "half roll" suspension with the known problems this kind of suspension has).

AES Convention:112 (April 2002) Paper Number:5519I guess that the Airfoil loudspeakers (who benefited from the knowledge obtained on the Lineaum) solve few of the above mentioned problems
(specifically the obvious non linearity resulting from the strain of a membrane having a 8 shape like the lineaum during its operation).
