There are plenty of vintage Altecs available on Ebay and occasionally Audiogon. I picked up a pair of Iconics (circa '64) from an local gent who was converting to a Paradigm HT system. The Iconics would be used in my second system.I liked the sound so much that I tried the 806A driver on the Khorn's squawker (needed an adaptor). I liked the sound so much I converted my Khorns to the 511B/806A.
