I haven't had great luck trying to mate the ST300 all the way down to 4KHz with the Edgarhorns. I was using a 1st order parallel XO, which seemed to sound better than a 2nd order XO. Since then, I've been using a 1st order series XO at 8KHz, but I haven't tried a series XO at 4KHz. BTW, the series XO is very nice. It seems to give much better coherence than a parallel circuit. The mids on the Edgarhorn/LE5 are really nice but I think I'm missing a bit of clarity and "attack" on the highs with cymbals, etc. A titanium driver for the HF that can be crossed over below 4KHz and extend to 1KHz might be the answer. The ST300 drops off very rapidly after 3.5KHz and the Edgar/LE5 dosn't seem to do too much after 10Hz. It does sound very good the way it is now, but I think I can do a bit better.
