Yes, the Bolero's were substantial speakers. Remarkable that Altec was able to capture much of the sound quality of their larger systems in a box that size (about 2 cf internal). Altec did not cheap-out to cover a price point (around $180 each). The horn tweeter does not appear to be one of the 3000 series. It also crosses over lower (than the 3000) and resembles the Jensen RP 103.Best,
