Hi Christopher,That looks so much like an Altec cone, I wonder if they built the driver with an Altec cone kit originally? Unless you can find a Maxonic expert over there to tell you, you will have to disassemble the driver to make comparisons to Altec dimensions.
Bill Hanuschak at Great Plains Audio in Oklahoma City is the source of new Altec parts these days, as he is manufacturing them from original Altec tooling. You may want to have a chat with him to discuss possibilities.
Could you post a picture from the inside of the enclosure? Enquiring minds want to see what the rest of the driver looks like. Are you certain it is alnico? I understand that Maxonic manufactured field coil drivers years ago.
