Freddy,Whatever you do, DON'T use Radian diaphragms to rebuild your ALTEC drivers! Their parts are WAY - WAY - WAY too inferior to justify their use! Though many people will give you their reasons for not using Radian diaphragms, I choose the BEST one -
They don't sound as good.
Pure and simple. Radian just DOESN'T understand how to build Altec diaphragms, and don't let ANYBODY tell you otherwise. They're flat-out inferior. PERIOD.
Instead, why not use brand new, REAL Altec diaphragms, made by former Altec employees, using the same materials AND the Altec equipment? Great Plains Audion in Oklahoma City is the ONLY place to get them! Go to their website at - http://GreatPlainsAudio.50megs.com/ - check out the notes, pick the part numbers you need, then e-mail them for a quote. YOU WILL NOT BE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR DECISION!

To me, this makes more sense.
The Altec's are WAY MORE than a step up from Radian's!
