Both sound very good and share some common virtues; low distortion, excellent dynamics and clarity.I think the Cormwall sounds a little "zippy" compared to the Altec but others hearing that same difference think the Cornwall is fine and the Altec is dull. Go figure. I think Altec midrange sounds better, fuller and richer. My opinion and a dollar buys a cup of coffee. :-)
Which is better can only be decided by you.
