You'll like it even better! it is a cheap and reversible mod that will basically turn your driver into a 902-8A, with a few minor differences. The true no loading cap 902-8A don't have a centering ring, which most loading cap models do. Great plaines tells me this should make virtually no difference sonically. It is a pain to remove this centering ring and it would require sending them to great plaines. The magnets must be removed to get at it, and bill @great plaines tells me they may need to be recharged. i was talking to him about several drivers some of which were alnico, not sure if he meant them or not, but we were discussing the 902-B drivers at the time. I believe he said ( to the best of my memory) that it would cost about thirty apiece to do. i was up for it, but when he told me the main improvement was with removal of the loading cap, and that sonically it wouldn't be cost effective to remove the centering ring...so I didn't.Happy listening
