Altec Guys: Is it a big step up from my A-7 Valencias to the Barcelonas????

I've got the room and the amps to do it if it's really a big step up, but I've never heard a set and you can't just go down to Circuit City and listen to a pair. Anyone in Seattle have a pair I could listen to?

My 846B's sound pretty good with just some Dynamat on the horns and some new Solen caps in the crossovers. Not exactly the ultimate in high or low end extension, but mighty musical and dynamic. But if I can get a little more headroom and bass extension, I might go for it.

I've got a high WAF requiement to deal with here as they are in the livingroom, so I've no utility cabs. Would some 19's be a better upgrade move???
