If you use only the Altec 825's you will lose a lot of the bottom end. The Altec 825's doesn't have much under 100hz. On the other hand from 100hz on up (using the 515b) you will get some very good midbass/midrange. You could use the 825 and have the 4638's supplement the bottom end. This would obviously take up a lot of room. Tom Brennan uses Altec 825's with 4648's (same as 4638 but different drivers). His system sounds very very good. In fact he is selling his Altec 825's. If you live in the Chicago area you might consider purchasing them from him. They are custom made 825's and nicest the I have ever seen.Good luck and keep us updated on what you do!
