1. Which 2" throat Altec drivers of recent time went down to 500hz?None, or all. Altec didn't make a 2" driver. All of their drivers could be crossed at 500hz.
2. Did any of those have (or have replacement) diaphrams that were titanium?
None, or all. Altec didn't use titanium. Aftermarket units are available that are titanium, but they don't sound good crossed at 500hz.
3. Any of those models have the tangerine phase plug?
None, or all. Since Altec never made a 2", or a titanium driver, none of them had the tangerine phase plug. All drivers made after ~1976 had the tangerine phase plug, except phenolic types.
