Not the Sparkomatic.....When Sparkomatic bought the Altec name they only bought the right to build Consumer speakers under the Altec/Lansing name and could not associate themselves with the Real Altec/Lansing company. Remember Altec was still around back in the mid 80's.
Also the Speakers from Sparkomatic were drastically different then anyting Altec had previously build....Woven Carbon woofers.....These speakers are using components from the REAL Altec company....
