I like Valencias, I've heard quite a few. I think of the Model 19 (which I owned) as the Valencia perfected and the ultimate version of the Altec 2-way (Duplexes being another story). Compared to the Val the 19's bass is deeper and the treble is flatter and more extended. And the directivity of the woofer and horn is supposedly matched at the crossover. Anyway I consider the 19 one of the finest turnkey home speaker systems ever.
