2000 series
The SUPRAVOX 2000 series speakers are equipped with Alnico motor.
The 380-2000 OB is a high-efficiency subwoofer (95 dB), it is derived from the 380-2000: it is dedicated to baffle-plan audiophile installations, or closed/infinite.
It covers the 40-500Hz band in 250 to 300L, or in open-baffle.
Its new Alnico motor, assembled around a one-kilogram central magnet of Alnico V, uses a 20 mm coil of flat copper wire coiled on the field, on a ventilated fiberglass reinforced Kapton support, attached to a profiled core, this set offers a perfectly symmetrical travel of +/- 7 mm.
Two aluminum demodulation rings stabilize the engine field, but also reduce, linearize and symmetrize Le(x).
The mobile crew takes advantage of our new exponential cone, which by the formulation of its paper offers better damping guaranteeing clarity and definition, while ensuring greater rigidity by its profile offering reduced distortion in the low register.
This speaker surpasses our 400-2000, and is placed as a reference in high-fidelity: bandwidth, linearity of response, sound clarity, dynamic range, thermal and mechanical hold, very low distortion.
