I'm far from up to date with speaker drivers but correct me if I'm wrong, the sensitivity has as much to do with the enclosure design as the driver itself. My only self-built speaker with 15" driver was a Wharfedale Airdale from the 1960s. I used the Wharfedale 8" and 3" drivers as per Airedale spec but substituted a more efficient Fane 15" bass driver in place of the Wharfedale unit. Sounded pretty good to me at the time but is Fane still building drivers ? I doubt it.
Sorry, rambling rather, but fun at the time. I use "proper" speakers now with twin 12" per channel - plenty of bass for my needs.
