RE: Altec question

Keep 288c drivers and sell the rest. Get some nice modern 15" (not Altec) and modern horn. If you must keep 414 for some reasons still keep 288c and cross to a pair of 414 at 500 Hz to maybe 700 Hz but I think it's too high from that most over hyped driver I heard. Do not follow JeLab crossover or any of his ideas, recommendations. Otherwise you will have one of those turd systems which are aplenty due to popularity of his site .
