Hi,
I used to run Tannoy Montor Reds with a 300B SE Amp (several actually) and they where an excellent match.

As a totally leftfield option, which does a lot bigger horns do well too, but in a different way. I replaced the Tannoys with Supravox 8"Full range drivers on an open baffle (Plus Subs and horn super tweeters).
In many ways this system had what I loved about the Goodmans Axiom 80 combined with much that made the Tannoys special, but is a much more open, natural presentation.
Maybe Justin (Jusbe) wants to chime in,as he heard several versions of my system.
FWIW, I am missing the open baffles most of all of them and they are on my list to put back one day...

At 20 bits, you are on the verge of dynamic range covering fly-farts-at-20-feet to intolerable pain. Really, what more could we need?
