I really like my Omega Super 3xrs single drivers. I've got them set up in a small room (11x12 feet) and run them with a 4 and 2 watt amp which is plenty.
Obviously they don't go down super low and start rolling off in the 50hz range and that's the main drawback along with the fact that if you play big music loudly, your going to notice that they don't move air like larger speakers do.
Compared to some Kef LS50's and Harbeth P3ESR's that I also run occasionally in the same room (with different electronics obviously) the Omegas are much faster, image much better, and sound so much more un-box like than both speakers that it's kind of shocking sometimes; you'd think you were listening to a planar speaker with the Omegas. There's also no mid bass hump with the Omegas that you get with just about every other small bookshelf speaker, so that will either turn you off, or you will appreciate it.
I've had them now for about 9 months and I'm still very impressed by what they do with small powered tube amps.
