Where to start? With a speaker you like enough that you don't have to "mod" it.Klipschies seem especially susceptible to the aftermarket sellers and are told all they need is a new crossover, different mid driver, different mid horn (which is often an uncredited copy of Bruce Edgar's designs from Speaker Builder magazine), different tweeter, different diaphragms (with the poor Klipschies, as usual a day late and a dollar short, running toward titanium while the more hep JBL guys are running away from titanium) and a different woofer. All these jaspers are left with by Klipsh is a box and a badge; no doubt the aftermarket can supply improvevd Klipsch badges too.
And don't forget, they also "need tubes". ;-)
Cornwall IIs are pretty damned good speakers and were designed by some pretty sharp guys, I suggest you relax and enjoy them. If you decide you want to improve on them I suggest thowing Klipsch over altogether and getting some Altecs or JBLs.
