These speakers were recomended to me. I don't have low powered tube equipment (which I understand these speakers are good for), so its not just for the efficiency. What I am looking for are nice sounding speakers, leaning towards the warm side, that are capable of playing loud without sounding strained. My main speakers now are Hales T-5's which are very detailed, nice to moderate levels, but tend to sound a bit to bright as the volume goes up. What I don't want are speakers that sound like what you might hear in a club - capable of high levels but not great sound. Has anyone used the B&C 15" coaxials? If so what is your opinion on them? Also, Eminence make similar speakers for quite a bit less money. Any opinion on these.
Looking for advice on my next project.
Thanks!
