Hang in there. I scored an almost pristine set of Malibus for $500. Amazing speakers. Readding Vinnies post makes me want to dive into the original crossovers though. Someone else mentioned Boleros. I just picked up a somewhat neglected pair for $50 with out the horns. The later horns can be found on eBay rather easily for not much money. I had a spare set of early horns and with a little elbow grease have a really nice set of speakers.
