Agreed.
Not so, but the requisite horn is too big for all but the largest typical listening rooms and a pair large enough to reach into the mids needs a room size volume, with either iteration needing considerable digital delay on the mains; so for all practical purposes, 'flea' power requires multiple woofers in a large box tuned low/channel to go 'live'.
