My experience: a low power SET will drive such efficient speakers quite loud but.... but the bass will follow the speaker impedance curve because of the high impedance of the SET amplifier. Been there, done that, much more power is needed for the bass. I will suggest a biamplified system with at least 40-50W RMS and this means PP amplifier. A realy good bass from a SET is a myth.
PS I have 414A in my system; I drive them with a SET on 300B but only in the 160-800 Hz range ;-)
