I've owned and own many Altecs (A7s, A7-500s, A5s, 605As, AS-21s, 890Cs and Nineteens among others) and I think the Model Nineteen is the best. It has deeper bass and more extended highs than previous Altecs and has superb tonality and imaging. I think the Nineteen is the best turnkey speaker ever made and is the end of the road for me, since I got my Nineteens I've settled down.
