EssoI can't help but think of Sylvester Stalone saying these words in one of the Rambo movies, along with "We could'a won that one" (Vietnam). How we coulda won that war by teaching gym at an exclusive Swiss girls school with a teaching deferment is a mystery to me. Maybe if we made enough Rambo movies and shiped millions of boots over to Hanoi, we at least could convince young Vietnamese that we won that war. They never had any cool actors like Sly. But I'm confusing the actor with the character he played. The character Rambo faced a test in the first movie: to fit into civilian life with all that comando training. Dr. Geddes faces a similar test on this forum. You and I face some tests here too. When I first read the statement about horns not being able to image, I thought "How could anyone with a P.H.D. say something like that?" (I'm cleaning this up a bit for politeness). Then it hit me like a diamond! This was meant to be a provocative humorous statement! A P.H.D. would only say this while joking around! Esso my man, we been had! Dr. Geddes is probably laughing at us right now. A more proper response would have been something like this: Scientific Non Subjective Statement Follows: Whether or not a direct radiator "monkey coffin" topped by a cone horn loaded mid/hi (with a constant 90 degree phase difference between the two driver transfer characteristics) can image better than an all horn system like Dr. Edgar's Titan- I don't think it can. S.N.S.S. Ends. Yeah I know, it's kinda contrived and quite late in the game, but us horn guys have quite a bit of catching up to do in the humor dept.
I'm gonna lighten up a bit.
