I use a Bryston 2BLP with my Fostex BLH (high sensitivity), 60 W, dead quiet, punchy and musical and very revealing. You could get one second-hand for around 400-500$. They have an integrated version (think it's called B60). Some people find the pre-amp section a bit harsh, but I never heard the product.
