looking for dream speakers for Eico HF-12

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

I am in the midst of searching for speakers for my Eico HF-12 amps. So many speakers have been recommended to me that it has become quite overwhelming. My price range tops out at about $1000. The room is small, and I listen almost exclusively to classical. Iâ€™m sure that numerous speakers are good, or even really good, but Iâ€™m looking for the kind of speaker that has been highly praised and loved for decades (or less, but highly praised none the less), such as the esl57, and the spendor bc1. I really wanted the bc1â€™s, but they require more power, and the 57â€™s are out of my price range. So what speakers still stand out to this day, and work well with low powered amps?
