I have run the crossover up to 3 kHz with a 12 dB drop on the woof and tweeter. I also have a 8 ohm resistor in series with the tweeter and a 5 ohm in parallel. The balance between the woof and tweet is very good but I still attenuate the 100hz bass to +4dB when I wanna rock. This is because the WPU 1507 covers the mid bass well, maybe a little too well. If you think the 511 horns are being wasted,I agree to a point, but I already had the horns when I picked up the tweeters, so I am using them. I also have a set of 811 horns, but they look small and out of place on the A7 cabinet. If anyone is looking for a good old fashioned almost indestructable rock and roll speaker, and wants to feel as though they have contributed to the system, then this is one project you could consider. I have no regrets whatsoever.
