I was lucky enough to aquire a pair of EV 30W's in Patrician ultilty bass bins. I added Oris horns with PM2A's. X over is the 160hz settings on a pair of Parts Connection SS plate amps. I have a pair of 300B SE's on the Oris. After awhile I found I missed a bit of extension on the top end and since I already had TAD 2001's on Raft Craft horns, I added them to the mix with a 2uf capicitor, driven by a pretty much stock pair of EICO HF 50's. With this outfit, you must tri-amp to get a good balance in my opinion. (The 30" EV's are turned way down as are the TAD's.) A really good sound and a really big sound. I wish my listening room was bigger... I realize this might not be an easy system to duplicate since the EV's and their cabinets are somewhat difficult to source. Not impossible, but not easily found. Also they are big, too big for most folks, but we like horns, right? Big comes with the territory. Good luck. The Oris horns are great speakers.
