Line-level passive crossover

Hi Mike,

I am using a line-level passive crossover, basically simple 1st-order RC high-pass and low-pass filters built right into the RCA connectors of the cable connecting a "buffered passive preamp" to the amps. The "buffered passive preamp" has a 12-step attenuator for volume control and an output buffer for each channel. I had to include the buffer to isolate the attenuator from the simple RC filters in the line-level crossover.

As you know, I also have a Behringer 3400 crossover. I tried it very briefly (like for 5 minutes right after I took it out of the box) on the CS3115's and decided that I liked the line-level crossover better. After hearing how good your CS3115's sounded with the Behringer, however, I think I need to try the Behringer again. Maybe I just did not get the crossover dialed in right the first time.

Kurt
